which we have seen play out recently with news coverage of the elections and the caravan approaching our southern border. Also, a special thanks to Director Andy Deggeller and his fam- ily and team members for arranging our third annual TopGolf event in Tampa. This is a great event for all ages and, best of all, you don’t have to be a great golfer! These funds are dedicated to support our OABA PAC and lobbying efforts. This event starts at 7 PM at TopGolf in Tampa.

The Education Committee has improved on VOLT, the OABA on- line education portal, by translating more core curriculum classes into Spanish. This will allow Spanish-speaking employees to par- ticipate in the same online education available to other members. We continue to monitor the ASTM F-24 Committee regarding proposed language related to metal fatigue and corrosion as it relates to amusement equipment. The portable industry is under- represented on the committee, so if you want to have a say in the standard, please join ASTM and participate in the process. You can vote and comment on the proposed rules online without at- tending meetings, and we need your input and expertise. I look forward to seeing you all in February at the IISA and NICA events, and at OABA’s 54th Annual Meeting on February 8 at 6 PM at the Sheraton Tampa Hotel. And finally, and most important, I hope you enjoy this special Holiday Season with family and friends. 
