I love, Dutch Harness Horses and Arabians I asked Randy for an interview. QUESTIONS: How long have you been breeding and what breeds of horses do you breed?

W Dutch Harness Horses and Arabians

hen you spend enough time dreaming, envisioning and believing in a foal, to finally see it come to fruition can be the realization of a highly awaited dream. For long time breeder Randy Forrester it is the culmination of years of careful breeding practices and believing in his vision. As someone I respect for his involvement in two breeds

I have been in the horse business for 8 years - started out with Dutch Harness Hors- es, and since have moved into Arabians 4 years ago. We have bred several cross breeds to hopefully get the best of both worlds. Being the beauty of the Arabian along with the high trot of the Dutch.

How did you get started? Did you have good mentors along the way?

I got started in horses when a friend came up from Tennessee and brought some apple pie moonshine (most expensive drink I’ve ever had). We had too much moon- shine and before we knew it we bought a mare & foal.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishment and why?

My biggest accomplishment was Graaf Kelly a proven Dutch stallion that has won many shows multi national championships and does extremely well in the breeding program (My forever horse).

One of the most special moments in the Arabian horse world was when my youngest son Cody showed for the very first time at the Scottsdale Arabian horse show in 2018. We were so excited when he won. What a site it was to see the roses around Beauty of Marwan’s neck and our son running along her side.
