My parents brought my 1st Palomino when I was in High School – Golden Commander he was a wonderful all around horse from horse shows to rodeo – he did it all.

We now raise Beautiful Palomino Horses with specific bloodlines – Frenchman Guy – Sun Frost Sires

Tonya, your parents have been in roping, barrel races, and started a lot of roping events! Please share with our readers who your parents are? The impact they have brought to rop- ing, and barrel racing? Ray and Marge Freeland have a long history in Arizona producing Team Roping’s, Barrel Races they were some of the first Major Team Roping and Barrel Racing Producers in the State of Arizona.

My husband and I assisted my parents with the events with supply- ing the roping steers over 100 head on our farm at Nashwa until Ray and Marge retired from producing Major Team Roping’s and Barrel Races.

What set them apart was the fact that every event was a FAMILY Event – we had Goat Roping for the kids, we had Barrel Racing for the family plus the Team Roping Events – it was a Family Event that the whole family could enjoy for the holiday weekends.

Tonya, your facility hosts many horse events, roping events, and now starting to host weddings, and special events. What is the best way for our readers to reach you, or your coordi- nator to make preparations? Nashwa Farm is happy to host any type of event – contact Tonya Wiertzema 602-525-0630 cell or nashwafarm@gmail.com. Check out our New Website and FB for videos and pictures of our facilities.
