in the 4-Year future of foster youth ages 14 to 17. Here, youth turn their past into something positive. Realize their dreams while maximizing their potential and a sense of belonging in the community.

“Our Foundation Family offers a transition leadership pro- gram that fosters conscious living through experiential learn- ing. Cultivating social emotional well-being and real-world content, we offer hands on problem solving that aligns life, education and career goals with a mindful social impact’, says Colleen, Founder & CEO of Scott Foundation. Earlier this year the kids were gifted a trail ride experience by local Cave Creek resident and Scott Foundation Vision Partner Diane Bell, which resulted in a heart-based connection that continues to grow. President, Curry Eversole of Triple R Horse Rescue kindly introduced himself to the kids upon their arriv- al, and goes on to share his story growing up in the foster care system. Eyes wide open; he respectfully kept their attention as they all share a deeper understanding of the unmentionable pain that now bonds them together differently than others.

And so it begins... A first for nearly all of the kids, they giggled with excitement as they saddled up and learned the name of their horse. As they rode off, their grip to the saddle tight, but their return looked much different; relaxed, full of smiles and stories of seeing their first rattlesnake and how amazing their horse was. Filled with questions on how they could help and spend more time with the horses, they learned about the care and feeding, rescue stories and the cost associated. Sparing no time, the kids sprang into action and created a plan to help raise money to help Curry and his Team help the rescue hors- es through the Kids & Horses Raffle. Tickets are only $10 and each offers a unique give-away or discount along with entry
