Fellow Longhorn Breeders:

I hope this finds you well. Te TLCA would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2017 Cherry Blossom Sale. Te sale this year was a HUGE success and once again showed how strong the market for our beloved Longhorns is this year. Tank you to all those who volunteered behind the scenes to make this year’s Cherry Blossom Sale and Futurity a success. It was a pleasure getting to see old friends and making new ones while getting to view the best cattle on the East Coast.

Here in the office, we are gearing up for the 2017 Longhorn World Championship. Once again, Oklahoma City will play host to the most anticipated Longhorn event of the Fall. Open to all to attend, this year’s event will have some new and exciting things added. Sale animals are starting to come in, and they are looking great. We invite you to attend this year and be part of the fun. Te Breeder Social, Championship Futurity, Measuring event, Breeder Seminars, and Championship Sale will offer plenty of fun for the whole family. Be sure to mark your Calendar for October 20-21, and we will see you there.

Te TLCA Registry is still on a fast pace. We have registrations coming in droves and appreciate your business and trust in letting us register your cattle. Trish is hard at work to ensure that your experience registering goes as smooth as possible. Tis year, we have seen so many new breeders coming into the industry, and it has been a pleasure getting to meet with you all. Please feel free to give us a call any time if there is any way that we can assist you.

We are very excited to announce our new website - THETLCA.COM - is up and running. Tis new site is full of industry information and will provide a one stop shop to get information regarding our services and industry news. We would love to hear your feedback.

As we go into summer and sale season slows down, I wish you all safe travels and healthy cows. I would like to ask you to keep all of those affected by the recent severe weather across the nation in your thoughts and prayers.

As always, please feel free to call if there is anything that we can do to better serve YOU! Tank you again for your continued support and confidence in the Texas Longhorn Cattle Association.

God Bless,

Chase Vasut Vice President of Operations
