Fellow Longhorn Breeders:

I hope this finds you well. Summertime means the traditional off season of sales and Longhorn events, but the temperature isn’t the only thing that is hot.

Here in the office, we have been working hard at the 2017 Longhorn Extravaganza. We have set a goal to make it bigger, better, and more fun than ever before! Te sale cattle are out of this world, the measurement cattle are boasting big numbers, and the futurity heifers and bulls I am sure are starting their show routine.

I would love to personally invite you and your friends and family to the 2017 Longhorn Extravaganza this year on October 20-21st. Come take in all Oklahoma City has to offer while getting to view the biggest animals and brightest young stars in the Industry. If you have not attended or competed before, we would love to have you. You will find a fun, family-friendly environment that is focused on this wonderful breed. New this year will be the “Kid Zone” and Photo Contest - be on the lookout for more information on these special events. We have a special rate at the Sheraton Hotel that is just across the street from the event and a short walk over to historic Brick Town.

I would like to thank each member of the “Longhorn Family”. Te past month, we have seen hardships from breeders - loss of homes, loss of family members, sick or injured cattle, and issues that go beyond our cows. It makes me proud to see the overwhelming support from others in aide of those who are having troubles. I am happy to be part of this great community of people.

I ask that you keep all those going through hard times in your thoughts and prayers. I wish you safe travels throughout the summer, and I am counting down the days until we get to see you all at the Longhorn Extravaganza October 20-21.

Please don’t hesitate to call the office if there is anything we can do to help. It is a continued honor to be able to serve you and this wonderful group of cattle.

God Bless.
