Fellow Longhorn Breeders,

I hope this finds you well. April is here, which for us means hitting the road to Culpeper, Virginia, for the Cherry Blossom Sale. On April 15-16 more than 80 lots of some of the best cattle the East Coast has to offer will be auctioned off at the Culpeper Agriculture Enterprise Facility in Culpeper. It is a weekend that is always full of great fellowship, beautiful views, and of course, Longhorns. Te 2017 July Herd Sire issue is also under way. Tis hardback edition is the most highly anticipated Journal of the year. We are slashing prices on advertising and would love to see your bull in it this year! Our friendly sales staff is working to contact everyone they can to ensure you don’t get leſt out! Please feel free to contact the office as well to get your bull promoted in this special issue!

For those of you in attendance at Legacy XIII, you got an exclusive first look of the all-new, online registry system. Tis new system is easy to learn, navigate, and most importantly quick to register your cattle. Registrations have been coming in droves, and we want to thank you for your business. As stated before, our promise to you is prompt and professional service that puts the customer first. Te Texas Longhorn Cattle Association looks forward to serving you and all your registration needs. Please don’t hesitate to call if there is anything that we can help with. Be on the lookout for new features to the registry that will better serve you in the coming months.

Te TLCA has given us the wonderful opportunity to take something and build it from the ground up. We have HUGE plans for the future and appreciate all those who have called with ideas and suggestions as to how we can better serve you. We look forward to working with you as we continue to move towards bigger and better things. I encourage you to call us any time to discuss how you feel we can make the industry better. We are here to serve our members and value each and every opinion. A strong presence of TLCA members in the foundation of our new events and services will ensure a bright future for not just the Texas Longhorn Cattle Association, but our beloved Longhorn industry as well.

I wish you all safe travels and a very Happy Easter. It is a continued honor to be able to serve you and this magnificent breed.

God Bless,

Chase Vasut Vice President of Operations
